About Geoff Moller

Geoff Moller is a management specialist with a broad range of experience in both the public and private business sectors. He is also an experienced public speaker and presenter. During his 30-year career, Geoff has managed federally-funded small business programs, served on a board of management committee for better business in Noosa, worked in a business advisory role supporting small to medium enterprises (Qld Government), and built a network of contacts through his work with corporates and owner/operated businesses. He also has over 25 years experience in the IT industry, and he is a strategic-minded leader who attracts like-minded business people as clients.

Geoff has an MBA (Master of Business Administration) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and the 2010 convenor of the "Mentoring 4 Growth" panel under the Qld Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry for the Sunshine Coast Region. And now facilitator for the Sunshine Coast Manufacturer's Network online fourm.

Geoff works as a business advisor and mentor to a number of businesses across a range of industries.

About Geoff Butler

Geoff has a broad range of experience spanning more than 35 years in both the public and private sectors in system development, management and performance improvement.

During his service career he designed, developed and implemented computer systems for the RAAF administrative environment to improve the efficiency and reporting capabilities with regard to pay and allowances, personnel records, welfare finances and funding allocation. Following this he moved into training and development, and ultimately business advisory and management consulting services, which has become his passion ever since.

Since leaving the Air Force, Geoff has held various senior management roles within the training and employment sectors, and has been involved on various consultative committees and working parties with both State and Federal Government departments to raise the profile and quality of vocational education and training and business capability in Australia.

Throughout his career, Geoff has had a passion and capability for developing people and systems to maximize business performance. His career achievements attest to his ability in analysing issues at all levels, focusing on developing human resource capabilities, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. Geoff is an experienced training and development and system design professional, and is included on the Queensland Department of Employment & Training's List of Pre-Qualified AQTF Consultants, as well as the Northern Territory Department of Business & Employment's Approved Consultant's List.

About Myles Rye

When Myles Rye joined the team at VESTRA Business Advantage he brought with him over 30 years of management experience.  With a varied career, from working with retail giants, running his own business, serving with the RAAF and holding senior positions in the public sector, Myles has developed a wide range of skills across all aspects of management and leadership.

Starting in retail and running his own department with one of the big chains, he moved to the hospitality industry and within a few years was managing a hotel in country Queensland and studying a Bachelor of Business before moving into management roles in metropolitan venues.

After completing his degree with a major in accounting, Myles went on to complete the postgraduate program with CPA Australia, and has continued to develop his financial management skills in line with his strong interest in management accounting.

Whilst serving as an officer in the RAAF, Myles underwent significant ongoing training in fields of leadership, finance, HR management and logistics.   He served in numerous units around Australia, leading and managing large teams in complex areas of operation.  He has a wealth of experience in managing staff and resources to get the best out of both through developing robust systems and putting in place sound measurement practice.

Myles maintains a strong interest and expertise in management accounting, HR management, change management, leadership development and business process reform. A  CPA with strong broad intuitive general management and project management skills, he can assist you in defining and achieving your business goals.
